IBM customer service
Last week, the LCD panel of my thinkpad decided to fail to light up at boot time. I contacted the IBM customer service at 10am, they quickly made a diagnostic of the problem. As the VGA output of the graphic card was still usable, the faulty hardware was certainly the LCD panel. The next day, at 11am, a technician on-site just finished to replace the dead panel.
25 hours to resolve a case of a hardware problem on a laptop. I don't need to tell that I don't regret the money that my employer put in the extra 3-years warranty, with on-site intervention. And no, I wasn't wearing this tee-shirt :-)
